ROJO, an independent organization founded in 2001, tries to push forward and bring fresh thinking within contemporary art into the light. ROJO is based in São Paulo, Brazil, but engages artists, creative institutions and brands from all over the world.
ROJO hosts the NOVA contemporary cultural festival twice a year, one in South America and one in Europe, and this year it is happening in Barcelona as well as in a number of other cities. The event will be between the 16th and the 31st of May, in which you will definitely discover a fine variety of art from many different groups of international new-thinking artists. NOVA will be held in the multifunctional space of the Mitte gallery. It will be displaying art exhibitions, music, installations, murals and different kind of performances.

The concept of NOVA is to give young, talented artists a possibility to exhibit their art without having to face the charges and fees known on the market. ROJO is one of the prime cultural organization that are exclusively devoted to promote and showcase innovative and new thinking contemporary art.
